on my knees

To Be Lifted Up

Father, in Heaven, I come before you now

Forgive me for the way I’ve been

And everything I’ve done

I don’t deserve the grace You give

But I thank You anyway

Wont You hear me here today?

Show me, how to walk

Show me, how to stand

Everywhere I go

I want You to be seen in who I am

I know I fall

Please, Father forgive me

Here, on my knees

Father, in Heaven, who am I that You should hear me

I’m just a poor child, who forgets Your word

But I try, and I fall, but You know, I’m human

And in that, please understand

So here I ask You, just one thing

Please forgive me of my sins

I’m nothing on this earth without You

I want to be Yours and serve You in everything I do

Hear me, Father.

Humbled here, please dry these tears

I ask You…

 —

Please forgive me

Though I don’t deserve it

Help me

Because I need You

Here, on my knees

Psalm 25:18—Look on my affliction and my toil, And forgive all my sins.

Psalm 86:5—For You, Yahweh, are good, and ready to forgive, And great in kindness to all those who call upon You.
