{Kindness} Conclusion by Erica

Zechariah 7:9—“Thus said Yahweh of hosts, ‘Execute true right-ruling, show kindness and compassion everyone to his brother.”

In this verse Yahweh is actually saying to us directly to ‘show kindness’. One day Sarah My younger sister was mad real mad at me (about what I don’t remember)I asked her to sit down and I started to fix her hair. Pretty soon she had calmed down and we were friends again. By showing a act of kindness as small as doing her hair It changed her entire attitude. Yahweh is obviously concerned about how we treat those around us all throughout Scripture, we want to be more like Him, therefore we need to have the fruits of His spirit

1John 3:18My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

So we can’t just say ‘oh I love you’ but we must show our love through our acts of kindness.

Kindness

Romans 2:4Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and tolerance, and patience, not knowing that the kindness of Elohim leads you to repentance?

Yahweh is kind! His kindness is what leads sinners to repentance!

Matthew 5:16 —“Let your light so shine before men, so that they see your good works and praise your Father who is in the heavens.”

We want people to see Yahweh’skindness living in us! But, we must be careful of our motives.

Ephesians 6:6—not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but as servants of Messiah, doing the desire of Elohim from the inner self

We want to have our hearts over flowing with the kindness and goodness of Yahweh.

Luke 6:45 —“The good man brings forth what is good out of the good treasure of his heart, and the wicked man brings forth what is wicked out of the wicked treasure of his heart. For out of the overflow of the heart his mouth speaks.”

Colossians 3:12Therefore, as chosen ones of Elohim, set-apart and beloved, put on compassion, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, patience…

Let us put on kindness everyday being kind to one another, becoming more like Yahweh, building his kingdom. Shalom.

Matthew 5:48—“Therefore, be perfect, as your Father in the heavens is perfect.”
