white as snow

snowy wood

Softly the snow falls, gently it lays on the ground

Like Your hand you gently pick us up when we fall down

The wind blows cold, You pull us close,

Even when we stray from Your way

You make us, white as snow,

And cleanse us from our sin

You make us, white as snow

You make us pure within,

Though we don’t deserve it at all

The way You take us into Your arms

And make us white as snow…

No matter where we are or where we’ve been

You love us still, and take us in

Everyday we struggle to find our way

But You show us You’re there

And we can make it through the day

And even in those moments when we’re afraid to trust You

You will take us and show the way

Even when our faith is fading,

You show us who You are…

And that You will make us

White as snow, and cleanse us from within

You will make us white as snow

Though we don’t deserve Your love

You take us into Your arms,

And show us where You are

And make us white as Snow

Psalms 51:7Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says Yahweh, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.”
